Tuesday, Sept. 17, 7 pm, at the Society, 8966 Rt. 5 & 20. “The Creation of Genesee Country Village and Museum” is a free public program by Peter Wisbey, Genesee Country’s Curator of Collections. Using story and images, the program will focus on how the living history village came to be through the vision of its founder, John “Jack” Wehle. Wisley has been with the museum since its earliest days and worked closely with Mr. Wehle as he set out to preserve the best examples of 19th century architecture in the Genesee Valley.
Thurs., Sept. 26, 7 pm, at the Society, 8966 Rt. 5 & 20. Join us for a chance to meet and talk with all the candidates for West Bloomfield Town Board. Includes a fun presentation by the Society on West Bloomfield happenings 100 years ago (1919), 75 years ago (1944), and 50 years ago (1969).
