Bristol View Farm

"..it is an old house but we are not really sure of the date it was built.... in 1976 we remodeled and found glued to the cracks of the planks, (walls)  newspapers dated 1815.       The land was purchased from Phelps and Gorham probably between 1788 and 1790.  

The oldest record of deed I can find at the Canandaigua Court House is Allison Hawkins selling to Clark Peck January 12, 1822, and he had purchased it from a David Heath but I can't find anything on Mr. Heath. "    -- history as written by Sandra Schlenker
